You know to this day I still wonder who that book was written for (Luke fans?) and I can't decide if we all feel so betrayed because we got this book titled "The Courtship..." but really it was a switch and bait. I still remember being in dismay over all the Mis-characterizations and after a particularly egregious part, I closed the book, set it on the table and pushed it away from me in distaste. It would've been less distressing if the cat gacked a hairball on the same table, at dinner time, right in front of me. Ugh. I don't want to hate on Dave W, but, can I just say thank goodness for the fic authors who make it all better! Wow, that was a long winded way to say that I enjoyed this-especially Chewie. Thanks!

Yes! This is the little fic I hastily read a while ago and wanted so badly to come back to. What a great missing moment. I can absolutely picture all of this happening, even the the dialogue is so brief between them, only a few short words with every sentence, you have me completely engrossed in the story. Brief but in fact so much ras emotions surrounds their words, it's really perfect. Well done!

That's...intense. I've not read the novel this is based on, so I'm struggling a bit to see where they're coming from, though, yes, I can just about imagine that he would snap like that. And Chewie, of course. Definitely Chewie.

Really like your writing style. Nice treat on this long new years weekend. I've never read the SW fiction...was more interested in the movies. However, recently googled must read SW suggestions and made the mistake of starting with "Courtship of Princes Leia". Yikes. I have a feeling I'd be more in line with your favs. Any suggestions ? Let me just say: O M G ! That was SO intentense, strong, scary, beautifull, absolutely a new favourite! Han taking her like that and terrified Leia just letting him... WOW! I don't understand why there isn't more chapters.

I also think Leia was OOC in Courtship of Princess Leia, but given the circunstances it's fine.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster. I didn't think anything could redeem COPL, but you did a great job.
