Thank you for not making Demming a jerk, I didn't hate him, after Castle was the one acting like an idiot during the whole arc ...

This was beautifully done! it felt very in character for the best side of what little we saw of Demming.

I prefered Josh to Demming, he was HOT.

Possibly one of the best prompts I've read that does not involve too much dialogue. Kudos!

I never hated Demming, I hated Beckett. She was mean-spirited, hateful, and belittling towards Castle during her relationship with him. She was even more of a bitch with Josh. Her actions while dating other men towards Castle is why I will never be supportive of their relationship. He deserves better.

Okay you're going to have to stop it with all this adorable nonsense because you're quickly becoming my favorite author, and I don't know how I'm going to rerank the rest of my top author contenders because you came out of nowhere and this is ridiculously cute and satisfying. (Please write more and often. I love reading everything you write.)

I love that Demming isn't bitter about it. I mean, I guess he would be if there hadn't been as many years between then and now, but I kind of like that he's not all broody and angsty over it. Also love that he observes them from a distance and we're spared a potentially awkward encounter.
