I really love this theme. Music school is always ripe with ideas. Always something very elegant about musicians, especially piano and violin, that just suits Rukawa to the ground :) this fic put me in mind of Nodame which is really one of my very favourite animes.
Yeah, there were a few rough patches in here, some of it felt kinda indulgent, like you'd come up with this bonkers idea and you were gonna use it no matter what, like that whole thing with Ian, and then Kas was there and then and then etc. Yeah, I think a bit of careful editing could have made this much better.
However! The characters were really dynamic, I really envy your talent for natural dialogue. Some of the lines were spot on perfect. (Some were kinda corney but... meh). And I love that you managed to build up so many individual and unique relationships between the various characters.
Anyway, I greatly enjoyed this one today. Thanks for it ;)
