I love that you switch point of views. I bet Paul is having a fit right now. Probably broke down the door when he couldn't feel her anymore. I would like to see a panic attack from an outsiders prospective and maybe see the pack's reaction to her in a trance (eyes open but glazed over). I hope you continue. It's a great store. Is this a foreshadowing that vamps are part of this climax your building up to?

I am so sorry for Hailey. She leaves thinking it's a new fresh start for them. Whee for her mother it's a goodbye. You knew it from her last words to Hailey "to take care of herself.". She has been taking care of herself for the lazwy five years no thanks to her. Her mother makes me angry. Sorry she's dead but suicide is selfish and that fits her to a tee. She has wallowed for five years and did nothing to help herself or look after Hailey. Her father is no better. Hailey is lucky that the pack will be there for her unlike her parents.
Love your story I hope that you continue. I want to see Hailey succeed.

I love to hear a wolf's point of view. To see how their mind works especially about how they imprint and how they view it. Hailey will have her hands full. Paul would have them married with babies before she would even knew what hit her. She better put her foot down about college if that is what she desires in her future.
Mom lost it? Something must have kept her home from school to be there.

Paul is really pushing this connection. Holding her hand, kissing her check and calling her baby. He doesn't know her. They met the day before. I would think that would freak her out a little or is so straved for human contact that it is acceptable.

Patiant with her? How about not being jerk. If only he knew he was gaining with her until he opened his mouth. He'd be kicking himself.
