lmc9389 chapter 6 . 12/13/2019 Huh so is this the OG professor Arc |
NoOneInportant chapter 6 . 8/6/2019 i hope u do more chapters it is a good story, i especially liked the interactions between blake and jaune as i for one like the knightshade ship but as this isnt a knightshade fic it is cool to see bits and pieces in there, all in all good story, hope u continue |
The Coin chapter 6 . 10/28/2017 I'm kinda sad that this won't continue this story is a diamond in the rough. Great job on the story I'm hoping you would continue. |
Daniel Huffman chapter 6 . 7/6/2017 I would say a bit rushed I would think that jaune and Blake are good but put in a story about how ozpin dated goodwitch or something like that but other than that I loved it |
Erdrick the great chapter 6 . 5/17/2017 It's a bummer this was cancelled. The possibilities of your world were great. |
einargs chapter 6 . 11/28/2015 Oh wow. This was amazing. The way you pulled off the backstory of Jaune... just brilliant. I think that I'm going to have to go through and take notes on some of this stuff for a fic idea I had. Thanks for the amazing story! |
Guest chapter 6 . 11/21/2015 Awww...kinda sad this work isn't going to be updated anymore. I really enjoyed the story and concept, and I felt immersed in the world ypu had made. I'll be sure to check out the other story you're going to be working on. |
RaXieF chapter 7 . 10/1/2015 wow, im looking forward for your next work. tbh i kinda prefer a lighter world. but i trust you would do lancaster justice :D |
The Richmaster chapter 7 . 9/21/2015 That makes sense; just another reason to look forward to season 3 |
ODST110 chapter 6 . 7/16/2015 Cool mate, that sounds like it woulda been sweet. My brother has a friend names Rex, and he is like one of the funniest guy's i've ever met. |
ODST110 chapter 1 . 7/16/2015 I think this is pretty cool mate, but i noticed some errors and stuff. Mixed up or missing letters mostly, but ya got everyone's names right! thats good, people usually mess up Jaune or Pyrrha if they mess up the letters, so at least those ones are all right |
VFR6 chapter 1 . 6/23/2015 Well, not the first time I have seen/read a mature Jaune Arc, but it would be nice to see his character development from canon goofy self to this world weary one. |
AzureStorms chapter 6 . 6/10/2015 Interesting story, but I skipped your latest chapter with the summary as that's a hell of a lot of spoilers for your own story. Really kills the mystery and ruins your chance to explain it as part of the story when you give us basically a bullet-ed list. Anyway enjoy the pacing and attention to detail as well as character interaction. Looking forward to more. |
Guest chapter 6 . 5/8/2015 imo i felt more emotionally attached to this fic than any other rwby fic, its so... sad |
College Fool chapter 6 . 5/8/2015 It's a shame that you're ending this story, but I do appreciate you putting your thoughts of your future intent in the end. It gives it a bit of closure which is well deserved. As far as 'Jaune is a badass' AU's go, this was among the better of them- less about an overpowered semblance meant to steal the show (using his already-established aura to buff his tank style, rather than be a one-man army), more about more credible developments you slowly revealed (Jaune already being a graduated student and a Hunter). There's no real issue with Jaune being impressive when he's older, so moving the timeline around is perfectly fine for solid AU fodder. The fact that there was a backstory that was allowing development parallel to the current-time plot was icing on the cake. But I will say, I liked Josephine the best. OC's are tricky, but you had a balanced one here: a mixture of strengths and weaknesses, she did a good job in being a foil for the existing characters (Jaune himself) without threatening to dominate the plot. That she also came from a credible, canonical source that Jaune had reason to care about (Jaune's vague sisters) also made the relationship more believable, rather than invented. Josephine worked well as a character friction for Jaune to work through, and was both enjoyable and pleasant to read. Overall an enjoyable piece, even if sadly ended short. Best of luck for your future works. |
