Bella saying she couldn’t leave because it meant forfeiting land didn’t sit well. I think that excuse seemed lacking compared to being with Edward. Why would she care who the land went to once she was free and gone? She was already forfeiting it by leaving. I think it would have sounded better if she was worried about the battle for leader that would break out or maybe she had friends she worried about.
When they were looking out the window at the trees I was reminded of the scene in the movie and liked that Edward had a door in his room and partially re-enacted it.
Edward’s and Bella’s relationship seems to be undefined. It repeatedly sounds romantic and than flips back to sounding like friends.

Sounds interesting. I’m guessing Bella believes Edward to be her mate...?

I'm so glad i came back to read this. I've re-read this from beginning to end and it has had me gripped like it did all those years ago. I have laughed at moments (especially Rosalie and Emmett) and I've also been moved to tears nearly (when their mates were ripped from them). I can't wait to see an email saying you have uploaded a new chapter as I am at the edge of my seat with held breath wanting to read what happens next. Update soon. Lexxy xx

When Aro saw all those memories, he was concentrating. Then Bella grabbed him. When she let him go with her conditions he nodded. I don't trust him, though. Did Jasper in fact kill Bree? Did that release Alice and Edward and return their free will?
