I think you are among the few authors here that can really gracefully story tell such a complicated and historical relationship. Yes. There are non-Western countries where it's common that you and your spouse-to-be could just walk in, fill in the official forms, and walk off as wife and hubby. China is another example.
Was hoping for a bit more..."romantic" setting aside from the Marriage Registrar Office, but I think you did it justice.

Another great piece! I also thought that mostly on Sasukes part, that they wouldnt really have a big wedding, just a very small simple one, which still holds a huge meaning to the both of them.

I loved this. Sasuke's envy of Sakura's sensitivity hits the spot quite perfectly. There's no doubting their feelings but taking that step into marriage is a leap of faith. And the finality of him calling her his wife at the end is just stunning.
