reading characters say their usual lines in fanfiction feels like whiplash. well, if they are messing with my ship I can let off some steam by targeting them in the game so there are up sides lol

gotta admit when trying to be immersed myself in skyrim my characters went through the same mindset about taking weapons from the Draugr, cause stealing from the dead was disrespectful since the dead were meant to use it in the afterlife but at the same time if they were turned undead they'd use those weapons on the living. had one character get so paranoid they simply took the weapons from them and threw them away, just in case

Haven't read this and don't plan to, but I just wanted to say the idea was really unique and interesting.

I remember finding this story years ago. I've been coming back to it for a while since. It's one of the best stories on this site. Everthing is done correctly, from the characters, pacing, and romance. The cliche misunderstanding in every romance story was also there, but other than that I have no criticisms. Great work.

I don't know how to articulate this, but I at least need to try, so stay with me here while I ramble. I read this story while you were still posting it chapter by chapter. I would wait and wait and check if you had updated, even though I knew your posting schedule by heart at that point. I don't know if I can really articulate how much this story was in my head. I would play with the characters in my head, trying to continue a chapter that you hadn't written yet- and when you did update, my little daydreams would be blown out of the water. I love this story so much. Everything about it. It's become this place in my mind that I seek out when I need somewhere else to go beyond reality. The actual game seems lesser to me now, because Erdi only has a couple of repeating lines, and no matter how hard I try, I can never get my dragon born to look exactly how I picture Shagram. I reread this story every time I need... I can't even describe it exactly. I love the love you've written. I love the insecurities and touch and the need and want. I'm not a fan of the stories Erdi loves. I don't really like romance novels. But this is so much more in my eyes. It's acceptance. And history. It's so beautiful. It is ingrained into my memory, so that I can close my eyes in the night s that I can't sleep, and feel. Feel loved. I love this story for that. I love you for that. Thank you for writing this and letting me have the pleasure of consuming this price of art. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

A good but bloody tale, actually it's just good ;-) one thing that you're wrong about- Elisif is not a queen, she's just Solitude's jarl until she can be appointed as the high Queen by something called a moot of the jarls. In the game the jarls refused to choose either Elisif or Ulfric as the king?queen. This is why both sides searched for the weird crown in one of the quests, that would be a symbol supporting their claim, but the jarls still need to gather and officially choose their king even if it's just formality since someone has an obvious claim.

is it too late to ask for more of these two?
