That was a fantastic story - so full of bitter-sweet drama and caring! I really did feel for all of them - Hercules and his burden of knowledge and also his desperate need to keep his family together, not to let any of them down. I loved him soothing a tired and feverish Jason to sleep with his rumbling voice. And then Pythagoras, at his own self-imposed guilt. Honestly - how on earth can he manage to blame himself when he did all that was humanly possible to help Jason when he was shot, given their circumstances. But then that's Pythagoras' nature, to worry. It was when he had to reopen Jason's wound though that I felt for him especially, and for Jason - I can just imagine the pain he was in and the anguish Pythagoras must have been going through, having to be the one who caused it, just praying that it would work. I'm glad Ariadne could see how much it had affected him and was there to offer comfort. It was good that she came, even if it meant reopening wounds of an entirely different nature. I liked the way she stayed, even through the rather disturbing draining of the wound. But I always prefer our guys, ultimately, just supporting each other so it was so nice to have such wonderful moments of caring and fussing between them.

Incidentally, I also loved Jason's determination not to go on any sheep-related quests and avoid the wretched Argo at all costs! I do wonder how many of the classic mythology movies he might have seen and how that should, logically, make him run a mile from certain names or places! :-) Poor lad!

Congrats on a fabulous one-shot and thank you for filling a rather glaring plot-hole in the episode - or at least, a rather annoying one!

Perfect! I was really missing that "Let's take care of Jason" part of the opener and this fills that void perfectly! Thanks!
