I know the Arkships are of great importance. But to buy time, wouldn't it be feasible to activate the Colossi and send them out to scorch as much Zerg as they can?

It would be nice if Diamondbacks were used on Aiur... or a Vulture variant with Eviscerator Rail Guns being made on Terra Firma.

Is it safe to assume that you'll be adding deleted units that didn't make the final cut?

I don't get it. Was Jason supposed to feel bad about yelling at kerrigan? I mean, no matter how I look at it kerrigan was in the wrong here and what Jason said made perfect sense. He didn't even say anything that hurtful either, other than saying he'd toss her out of the ship for acting like a spoiled brat. I know this chapter was posted a while ago, but could you please clarify author?

It's been a while since the last time I read a SC fic. I seriously need to catch up tbh. Very good chapter and very well presented. I need to re-read this story from the beginning though because I already forgotten what's it all about.

Somehow I doubt that Aldaris would permit launching the arkship just yet, more so with Terrans being involved, but there might've been more reasonable Judicators on the Conclave who sent the convoy. Zekrath, maybe? Which one of the arkships is this, by the way? I imagine the Spear of Adun is still secure beneath the Heart of the Conclave.

And with the way things are going for Jason (fairly acceptable for now), I wonder if they'll activate the arkship in time to warp out the rest of besieged Protoss party.

This is an amazing chapter, same as always! I really loved everything in this one and the action kept me on the edge of my seat because so many things could go wrong for Jason and Co.!

Having Jason be that overconfident as well as a little arrogant makes him more human and relatable, while the action scenes in the previous chapters are awesome and exciting, it does make the battles seem a little repetitive (where Jason saves some people, wins through some unconventional means, etc.), him suffering this big of a loss when everything, including his and Nova's life could be lost due to even a single mistake makes his story genuine and organic as well as make us worry over how he would get out of this alive since the odds are heavily stacked in the Zerg's favor.

Also, Lassarra reacting that way to Kerrigan makes me just love her! I mean seriously she has her priorities set up right and the way that she composed herself quickly compared to the rest of the characters, even Jason himself in that regard. I absolutely love how you portray her!

PS. Why do I feel like Jason's fall will include some deaths from the main characters or some other important secondary character?

I don't really mind having myself to read long chapters as long as I have something to enjoy from a creative fan's perspective I am all good. I am really liking this fan Starcraft story so far. It's been so hard for me to find another good Starcraft story on this platform. Your Starcraft fan story has been by far the best that I have ever read.
This Jason character had pretty much earned my first impression when I started reading. I just don't see Jason as a Mary Sue character. To be honest with you, my original commander character would have done same thing as well in his own Starcraft story. Jason's character impact has earn a wonderful win in my books.

Still wondering when will the United Earth Directorate is going to show up. Just a quick question, Do you have any interesting plans for a certain mystery UED Captain? Because ever since the UED established their strong foothold within the Koprulu Sector we never heard what happens to the UED Captain himself afterwards.
(DEEP SIGH) It's too bad that we the players never got the chance to heard and learn more about the Magistrate and UED Captain after their awesome campaigns. Those two mystery characters had always my favorites within Starcraft.
This is why I like reading your own Starcraft story. Someday, I will have my own Starcraft story to be told whenever that fan story is going to happen in the future.

Before closing here, If your Jason character was actually given the chance to have a special stoplight on Starcraft II Co-op Commanders, what kinds of play-styles and strategies would Jason be used for players on any co-op missions? Just a curious creative question here. You don't have to answer this last question if you are not interested. I don't really mind. You can your time to answer at a later update. I can still wait.

So, I just found this story yesterday and have poured probably around 8-9 hours reading through it since and I have to say, I'm somewhat in love with it at this point.

Your skill in writing action and combat while still able to create witty commentary throughout is probably one of my favorite parts of it all, I'll admit! I also like the way you carry Jason himself for the most part, though I've had the occasional gripe on occasion, but judging by some of the responses to reviews you've written before, who hasn't? He's a formidable force and pretty awesome character regardless, certainly one I'm enjoying seeing through the eyes of.

I'm excited to see where this goes from here, especially with the loss (albeit, temporary) of the Liberator. This crew has made it out of worse scenarios, but I'm quite certain this one isn't going to be quite so easy to deal with, considering the circumstances.

Hopefully this little review finds you well and know that I'm looking forward to (eventually) seeing another chapter.
