"Gorgeous and exotic"... a strong woman with a fighting spirit... damn Sanji's idea about his soulmate makes me think about Kuina ... You know I used to imagine in canon Sanji would have fallen in love with Kuina if she was alive... but now after Violet/Pudding I think maybe he likes the sweet/femenine type after all. (In canon I can't see any romantic feelings between any strawhats, so Nami is not an option.)

I really like this story :) I'm super happy you are continuing it :) In this chapter I absolutelly love the idea of Zoro having three cats, because it's adorable and I confess that I am a "cat person" (which I call cat -lover). It's also fun to imagine how the pets look and interact, animals behavior is often fascinating and/or hillarious to observe. I also appreciate the effort you are making to adapt the story to the modern setting. Sometimes it's fun to read AUs where Zoro fights in underground/ilegal battles or where the strawhats are normal workers on the day and secret agents/mercenaries/etc at night, but sometimes it feels too surreal and I belive realistic modern stories can be more interesting.

What else can I say? I really like Zoro and Perona's bromance and while I love ShanksxMakino I perfectly understand your need to show platonic soulmates :)

Also Zoro is not even giving Sanji an opportunity... he's judging him for his first impression when they only have spoken once... but I trust destiny ( his friends) bringing them together again.
