While it seems that you might've lost interest in writing this story, I have found great enjoyment in reading all of this story, and would greatly appreciate it if you continued tis story, the likes of which is only rivaled by a few stories.

Just reread this story, and can say with confidence that it is one of the very few top-tier Pokémon fics. It is a delight to read, and honestly, I'm disappointed I haven't reread it again before now. Hope schools treating you well, and that you might feel motivated to write when your academic load is reduced!

The thing he said about Team Rocket rubs me wrong. He still doesn't take it seriously and is arrogant about it. He's almost died several times because he jist stands there and gets saves by pure luck. He needs a better reason to fight and know that to not shoe any mercy.

i know its too late but can you fucking vatch the thief already? Never liked him in canon and already don't like him now. Id rather having fucking team rocker harras them then this prick. Just have Gastly or Kadabra paralyze him immediately like he did those rocker grunts.

I’ve just started this fix and I already love it, that fight between epsy and Croconaw reminded me so much of Naruto vs Sasuke, I imagined epsy holding a shadow ball like a Rasengan and Croconaw holding a chidori

This story is misleading and confusing for 3 reasons. 1 he runs into the thief multiple times but never knocks him out, he’s done it to team rocket who are professional thieves so why doesn’t he do it to the thief? 2 He has never ever been mentioned as a prodigy nor has he shown any prodigy skills! If anything Lyra is more of a prodigy than him because as you have mentioned in each gym battle so far that Lyra is more skilled and intelligent than the MC. 3 He doesn’t train his Pokémon, all he does is send them out and then get interrupted. BattlIng isn’t the only way too become stronger. I think you should re read everything you’ve written so far and change somethings. Or change the summary from prodigy to a normal boy from bark town.

The Pokemon stealer guy is such a weak part of this story and makes no sense. I get that you are following the game but it was stupid then and it's stupid now. Why didn't Ash just have Kadabra use psychic to hold him in place? The criminal using a Zubat and thinking it was going to crush a Clefairy? How fucking stupid is that?

Stop following the game if you want to be a better writer. You can use it as a template but nobody wants to read a novelization of the game verbatim. Also, please fucking get rid of that chick trainer. Never see her actually train yet somehow she is waaaay better than Ethan? Fucking stupid. All she does is wait for Ethan to fight first and she gets to fight the gym leaders shitty pokemon after Ethan has defeated them. She has no counter for Scyther.
