Wow! This is one of the best Spamano fanfics I've ever read! I love the characterization in this, and it seems a lot more realistic but still keeping the lil' fluffiness in there. I know i've used that word to describe your stories so MANY times, but shet this is just great and amazing, and I'm just crying bcz my feels for this story is just! frickin'! everywhere! This is such a unique story! I have NOT seen anything like this, EVER, and I am so! AHHH! Your narrative: A like a million times plus. The plot? AMAZING; it isn't, what's the word, over the top? That's not a word, but whatever. I just want to let you know that I love this fic so much. There are a few things that I love about this fic. One, it's not over the top. It's... /honest/, should I say. I really like how you write Lovino's and Antonio's emotions here.

Two, I also had a similar experience as Lovino. I torn my ACL a few years back and not been able to do sports like I used to due to the constant fear that I would injure myself like that again. Tearing my ACL is definitely not a pleasant experience. The recovery was really painful; how I had to learn to stand straight, walk, and eventually run again, so I know how it feels for Lovino.

Three, I have a similar... emotional tendency as Lovino. I'm not sure if that's even a right term haha! Anyway - I think you're describing /me/ kinda well in your Lovino. I know how it feels like not having a passion for anything and ends up doing almost everything - I write, sing, play music instruments, and everything else, and I don't feel good at doing any of those. It just feels... empty.

Overall, I think I really like this fic because it hits too close to home haha. Nevertheless, the honesty and, should I say, the "gentleness" and the "quietness" of this fic is beautiful. You have done a great job. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this. This has become one of my favourite hetalia fics, and I assure you, I've read /lots/ of hetalia fics.

And I'm really honestly, sincerely glad that Lovino gets to have his happy ending with Antonio in this story. Even though I have similar experiences as your Lovino, I still haven't found my Antonio haha! I hope I would be able to get my own happy ending as well in reality. Wish me luck! haha.

"And Antonio realized he fell for him more than just literally." That was so so perfect.

It's so late right now and I'm still totally absorbed in this. Reading this, it was like I was actually there and seeing everything happen, and my heart just went out to Antonio and Lovino for all they had gone through. It's like I met them as real people. XD It was wonderful. You are wonderful for writing this.

First off it is very cold right now so I definitely understand the weather you described from the beginning XD

And I adore Antonio so much - I think he's my favorite character and the way you write him is just perfect! I love how he's a bit on the quiet side but still funny and passionate and completely adorable when he wants to be - you let it all come across without making it obvious. I really wish I could write something like this, it's amazing. :D

Also when he meets Lovino... all I can say is, their dynamic is beautiful. It's just like you mentioned in your AN, "quieter and gentler." There's such a quiet ambiance to this fic, especially in the title. It all fits together so perfectly. And I just love it that it's so compellingly written - I've read a lot of fics in school AUs and most of them are about the same in terms of plot, but yours delves into their relationship with such a poignant backstory that I just - adjgkladjg I'm in love with this story. XDD

Antonio and Lovino are adorable. Those two dorks. I love them to pieces in this. You write Antonio different than any other writer, but you give him such depth of character. And Lovi too. They're both perfect.

Oh my lord this was really cute! To be honest I love reading the human AU's for Spamano better than the canon nation universe.
So many things you can do with the characters you know? I like how you make them seem more human! That's why you are one of my top 3 favorite fanfiction writers. Spain isn't just some perfectly tanned, handsome, idiot who is obsessed with Romano. He has problems and has emotions besides happiness. Romano is more than a grumpy asshole who has trouble showing affection, he has passion for things and is shy.
I love your writing style a lot, this story was really well thought out! Antonio having epilepsy was a nice little twist, I have a friend who has epilepsy and she has a lot of absence seizures. So keep up your amazing writing talent! I look forward to the next chapter of Tesoro Mio
