uh wow, that part of his story was never out in the open, just a gap to fill. and you fill it wonderfully. his feelings so raw, so manipulated, so human. and nazir just as calculating and dangerous, but just as human. you draw them really really well. thanks alot!

AGH. As if the Traces segment of this didn't crush me enough now here's the add on to it. Fantastic work as always though. I LOVE how you opened it talking about his mom, Jack the hamster, and then leading into the whole dialogue with him/Nazir. It's such a fascinating relationship and I feel like the writers only scratched the surface of it, so I appreciate you taking the time to give us more in depth moments in this. Brody feeling like his own name sounds dirty to him though, talking about his brother Marines.. you get into his head and dig into his character so damn well. It's fantastic and I love you for it. Excellent job. Hoping your struggle with F&S and Long Goodbye ends soon too. :)

zarqa chapter 1 . 11/21/2014
Wonderfully written account of that crucial time in Brody's mind when he "turned." I love how you saw how he took it all so personally, more personally than Abu Nazir did, certainly. (as Season One was unraveling I often thought that it would be eventually revealed that Issa wasn't Nazir's son afterall, just some random kid Nazir used to pull Brody into his web. But, of course, my guess was wrong. The show is lot more subtle than I anticipated in assigning blame; more subtle than any other show ever to deal with the subject of war and terrorism) Good work!
