I enjoyed reading this. Your reflection on how and why Castiel is different from the other angels was very eloquent and also thought-provoking to read. 'Following the spirit of the law, and not just the letter' stuck with me - the lead characters of Supernatural all flaunt the rules when they feel the rules are wrong, and exercise their own judgement to decide it. I admire that about the characters and particularly Castiel, who learnt to question and use his own judgement (for better or worse), and your reflection here delves into Cas's motives in a great way. Castiel is my favourite angel, too, and so thank you for publishing this piece of work on him.

Oh wow. This is its so beautiful. You really capture Castiel's point of view.
We don't see as much of what Cas does or sees as we do for the Winchesters... Which is too bad because there is so much that could happen, like in yur story.
I loved how you implied that Chuck is god :)

Beautiful exploration of Castiel's character. I loved it!

Aw, I really liked this. It was a really nice breakdown look at Cas's character through the series. This is exactly why I love him so much, the fact that he's supposedly a rebel, and I guess he is, but it's in the purest sense and for the best reasons in the world. Very nice little character study :)

Very good story.

This was a great insight into what Cas thinks about the humans, and why he has stuck his neck out for them. Even when Cas didn't understand the referances Dean made, or the reason that he and Sam have done things, he still loves them and supports them. Cas IS the only angel who actually obeyed God's command, and he has acted on it from the beginning.
