I like your writing. This and living to die has a feel of authenticity to it that many other fiction lacks. The plot isn't outrageously ambitious more like something you would expect form a regular guardsman. The premise that a powerful noble whose influence span outside his system being drafted as a mere private is a bit far fetched in the world of 40k; where local nobleheads would typically given a regiment outright. However; considering the unique nature of Krieg it is very plausible I supposed; and give another layer of irl realism where citizen soldiers is the norm.

Hey, hey! Good stuff! I check back every once in a while to see if anything has been updated and here I find you with this chapter. Hopefully you keep it coming. I love the DKoK and your stories are right up there with "Our Masks" in my favorites. So the Sororitas is totally a blank right? Though I wonder why her face is covered. Scars on her face from people slaking their dislike of her? Anywho, I really hope you continue this. I'm excited to see Plague Zombies against the Death Korps. The Dead vs The Dead one might say.

ITS NOT DEAD! YES! Just binge read the first series the other week and saw that this one only had three chapters with no updates in years. Until now! Love the characters and how Erich is developing. I’m honestly surprised by the zombies, as I don’t see them often utilized in 40k fanfic (but maybe I’m just blind) but I can already tell that it’s going to be good. The hints and sneak peaks at how the local forces and inquisition are trying to contain the threat always makes me shiver a bit. Can’t wait to hear more from our new guardsman and the two new girls local to the planet. Anyways, take care, and I can’t wait for more!

It's a sign of a good story that you can see a update pop out several years after you last read something, and withing 40 seconds you remember where the story was at and the gist of what happened before.

Haha yeah a little to much character development bud. You can make a character not just a zombie, but Krieg is literally just a zombie making machine. Also valley girl commissar is a bit much. I feel like your projecting into this story a bit. Just a tad little itty bitty widdy... Ok yeah are you getting bullied friend?
