Wow, this was so sweet! I’m really glad that Lauren didn’t turn out just one dimensional and had more to her than just a villan persona. Bella and Edward’s relationship is simply too heartworming! I also love how everything tidied up so well, like Jake finding Rosalie.

Okay, now it’s making sense to me. Appearances aren’t a everything. Edward talking about Lauren and how great she is was more to do with him trying to convince himself that he loved her.
He was trying to recreate the relationship his parents have. Lauren is similar to his mother in most ways, but they’re not his parents and no two relationship are the same no matter the similarities they might share. The qualities his parents love in each other are points of contention for Edward and Lauren.

No way. I disagree with Victoria. Trying to worm her way into their relationship would not work out. Bad karma for her. There’s the saying you lose them how you get them for a reason! If he’d be willing to cheat on lauren who he hasn’t stopped praising he could cheat on Bella. Going after someone still in a relationship and causing problems for them is also a terrible start for a healthy relationship. He’s going to be upset when they break up no matter what. He loved Lauren for four years, is trying desperately to make things work. She needs to let them work things out for themselves, they’re obviously onto their last days as a couple. I’m not saying she’d be a home wrecker for harmless flirting but keeping some distance is good.

He’s so in love with Lauren and raves about her. He’s attracted to her drive and fierceness, she completely opposite of Bella. I’m having trouble picturing him with Bella who is sweet, but not exactly ambitious, she just fell into her mothers career and decided to stay put. (Which is weird because it said that Renee left Bella and Charlie to live it up and travel after surviving cancer, only sending postcards from around the world, but she managed to settle in a small town long enough to open a flower shop) I’ve even read this before and I’m still feeling kind of sad for Bella. Lauren fits him and he adores her. I know he also plans a big loving proposal coming up. It’s weird I remember Lauren and Edward but not how he ends up with Bella.

What an incredibly sweet story. I love that they were friends first and the innocence in the writing. Beautifully done!

Thankyou for one of the most endearing stories I have had the absolute delight to read. The simple yet complex characterization against the backdrop of a humble quiet town transports me to a world that could very much exist somewhere out there.
