Truth be told I only chance upon this fanfic through your tumblr, and I must say I really enjoy. Especially the more subtle points and the small parts that add up. And...I hate because after I read your long form essay and the enduring love one I will never be able to read another fanfiction the same way again...sigh

actually pretty darn impressed with the fic so far. I don't have any issues with the pacing but I think you truly managed one of the things people giving Naruto "extra abilities" often overlook and that is how they can't make him an ace at those right away because otherwise there's pretty much no character development.

i also love how you are fusing the Hyuga tachniques in, I can pretty imagine Boruto using that style of gentle fist given how he has the training but not all of the tools. I can't wait to read more

It's good that you slowed down it makes the story flow better and gives us time to see everyone's development. I also like what you are doing having Danzo help teach Naruto you don't see a lot of those without making him seem like a heartless monster. I honestly can't figure out why this story has so little attention this has so much potential to be great. As always great chapter I can't wait for more.

I personally find you an excellent writter and you shouldn't let all those negative reviews get you down? So they don't like the cannon-ish approach to the cannon pairings?I don't see them complain elsewhere about the cannon pairings.

So,you are taking things a bit slower?Why is that a bad thing,you said it yourself,things are getting more fleshed out,like the fact that Naruto still is very much Naruto,even if there are a few changes in his personality,suddle and small as they may be and the fact that even thou the Kyuubi is making the Rinnegan mature,they are still his eyes,not a link to a world of Rinnegan or the Rikudo Sennin who can teach him all about the Rinnegan subconsiously.

I like how he is learning about his new powers in his own rapid pace and that you didn't skip much of the learning curve for the thing. Thou I do wish that those who want his Rinnegan matured would stop walking on eggshells around Naruto,as he is now,all he wants is to learn more jutsu(Considering that the Rinnegan is suspossed to give flawless chakra control and equal and masterfull affinity to all elements,that should be a cakewalk) and learn more about his new eyes.
I am atleast glad that the last bit was that,not all on a silver platter,but now the real tug-o-war that you started last chapter is truly beginning and I am really looking forward to see what you hinted at in the old description: A Naruto who leaves and a Sasuke who stays,or that the cannon events happens,but Naruto puts Konoha through the grinder with his powers.

I think this is a very interesting story, what I find interesting is that you gave Naruto the Rinnegan yet you have kept Naruto canon personality intact. The way I see it with my preferences in stories is it's good if the author powers Naruto up fast or changes his personality, making him more serious and at least average intelligence. Along with at least a more modest increase in Naruto's skills and abilities. The reason for this is where is the fun in reading a Naruto that stays completely canon for to long? I would like to ask though why have Naruto learn Juken? I ask because one, I don't see Naruto really using it in combat. And two, Hinata would never teach it to Naruto without her father's approval and we both know that Hiashi would never approve of it happening. Anyways great chapter and great story. I am happy that you are not being shy with increasing Naruto abilities, it was also interesting that you highlighted the Rinnegan's ability to see the Tenketsu. I have not seen a Rinnegan Naruto fic that has done that.

Very good chapter for setting up future development. Getting a chance to see the character's relationships change as a story develops is always nice.
