I really liked Shepard and Liara getting to talk about what they thin kt he post war life of their friends will be like. the crew is such a fun and diverse bunch there's really so many fun possibilities. Great read, this is, I think, totally new material. It really deepens the sense of their relationship at this major time of transition. I am very curious to see the new joint work, sometimes such things go really well between excellent writers such as yourselves and sometimes not so much. Hoping for the former. Can you put something up to let those of us who don't look at every new piece as it comes out on the ME story core ? I'm happy to author follow you and just putting up the first chapter on your author page-Rae should do the same on hers(hers?) would be great.

Lovely dialog here. And I liked James and javik's little scene. That was very in character as always. I'd like to see how other characters try to fit into the galaxy after the reapers. People like Miranda, Jack, Zaeed and Joker. I imagine they would be more lost than others. And i really loved he movie bit. I hope Shepard did send that letter! Or better yet went to visit her like all those super hero actors do for children nowadays. Not enough stories go into the celebrity angle of Shepard's post war life. Anyway, loved this all to bits!

Nice job on this, I really liked the Javik section. Great insight into his character and the changes he is being forced to go through. The scene with Ashara and Liara at the end also adds some nice emotional depth to the phase of their recovery from the war. Thanks for your hard work on this, looking forward to future installments.

Very very nice. Overall I enjoyed the original, but I've found all of the modifications have been enhancements to the story. The additional characterization is very nice, and the characters are one of the reasons ME is so popular in the first place.

Having the entire galaxy with a terminal case of hero worship would be very hard for Shepard as you've written her. In fact, I think Shepard might still be more broken at this point, but that usually implies breaking Liara too, and I'm always against that.

I really like all the stiff dealing with how the galaxy veiws Shepard after the war. She really would be treated like a goddess. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if a Shepard religion came about. And that must be a lot to deal with. You handled Shepard and Liara's feelings on the subject very well here. It felt very realistic. And you do such a great job with Ash and Garrus. Great work!

Ahhh... I remember this getting updated a while ago, and I'm glad I remembered right. I forgot how much I miss the tenderness of old school 4th Life. Despite all the hardship and troubled memories it's really comforting and sweet. It's almost like literary ASMR for me, so cheers, and thanks ;)

Absolutely positively a fantastic chapter! This was insanely well-written. It's been so long since I've read something set during ME3 sort of and I forgot how much I like it. I especially liked getting inside Shepard's head and reading her thoughts during the final moments of the war. Great work!
