Great story and it was very interesting to see different options for Kate. She has set views on types of people and how they behave - dissolute frat boys, perfect parents, graduates being somehow better than their peers and defined by subject they studied. But she never considers the skills needed for the job they do or that she and McGee may feel they are slogging away because they lack the knowledge experience to make shortcuts and the flexibility to consider more than one option at a time.

Kate never treated tony as bad as your trying to make out that would be the bitch ziva who probably would of already known tony was smarter then he acts from the background checks she did for her brother yet she still treated him like she and constantly out him down.

Both endings are kind of sad but Kate transferring might mean Ari never hade a reason to kill her. So your version actually could save her life. ... ?

I have been enjoying rereading this story. I loved Tim's explanation about what he had seen watching Tony. How he had seen the same look in the eyes of some of the students at MIT that were capable of figuring things out without using pen, paper or computer. It does make you think that Tim actually saw that when he first started. But his problem of letting strong willed women intimidate and bully him slowly changed his mind and attitude towards Tony. Both Kate and Abby. We all know that Abby couldn't stand for someone to be smarter than her unless it was someone like Ducky. Like her claiming her IQ was one point higher than McGee's when he bragged once about his 147 IQ.

Well, it's clear you are doing the best you can...

I never cared for Kate on the show or her attitude. The only thing you missed in this story was Kate whining to Abby about the unfairness of how she was being treated. Because by the time Tim joined the team Kate already had Abby in her corner with giving Tony a hard time.
