Another good chapter! Hope that Brooke and Squid learn to ignore their pride sometimes and talk to each other soon. Also hope Brooke gets her hand treated soon, though given how incompetent the camp's so-called Doctor is, the hand will probably be worse then it should be.

The end of the chapter has me very worried now, as whatever Squid and Rattlesnake intended to put in Michael's food is now in Brooke's. Really hope she'll be OK.

As for the part about Lewis; since it's been a very long time since I read the book (and have not seen the film), I only really remember the more major characters and events that were in it, so I don't recall much about the minor characters, such as Lewis being called Barfbag. I probably should get the book out and reread sometime soon.

Another great chapter! Enjoyed this one! Hope that Brooke's nightmares ease off, though given what she's been through that's unlikely to happen any time soon. Glad that the beating Squid gave Michael left him unable to bother Brooke any further for now. Glad that the whole tent (especially Squid) is supporting Brooke during this. Hope that Lewis toughens up soon; though I also hope that the others tone down their aggression towards him, as he's not meaning to irritate them. Excited to learn what Squid and Rattlesnake are planning. I'm guessing it's to hurt or kill Michael somehow. Wonder how it'll go.

I loved the plot, but you could've spent more time inside the characters' heads instead of 3rd person. I absolutely loved the sequel also! I read both 2 times.

Sorry I've taken a while to read and review this. Anyway, another great chapter! Loved this one! Felt so happy when Michael got that beating! The monster deserved every single one of those punches, and far more! The only disappointing part about that was that he was unconcious the whole time, and won't be feeling it until later. Hopefully Squid won't be punished too much.

You didn't make her soften too much here, so don't worry. As you said, this event was too much for her to keep up her mask. Hopefully she won't be hurt by Michael anymore.

This is a fantastic story that I've managed to stumble upon.
May I just express how much I absolutely love this story? To start, the writing is just phenomenal. I couldn't ever imagine creating such an entertaining story with such skill and precision. Speaking of the story, it's so original. I know the 'girl at Camp Green Lake' trope is overused, but you just completely restored it and write something amazing. This is quite possibly the best Holes fanfiction I've ever found, perhaps even one of the best fanfictions I've read for any fandom. I just cannot wait to read more.
