I think the connection between them is strong. I like how he watches her and cares that she is hurt. But I don't know that she would ever cross that line. Francis & Lola am sure are about to comfort each other again, only thinking of Mary after. :-(

I'm so into this pairing ever since Mary miscarriaged and he was there for her. But then, I've never been on board the Mary/Francis ship... Sooo.
