Oh my dear, what a beautiful story you have woven. I read it in two days and my heart is full. I have laughed with joy, cried with despair, and shed tears of joy at the very end. I’ve added this to my favorites so I’ll be able to come back and read again. A truly magnificent work, I applaud you.

This is definitely one of the best fanfics I have read. Beautifully written and emotional.

Why would Authiel tell Eowyn war was no place for women, who are too "emotional"? It seems wildly out of character and it left a sour taste in my mouth. She was raised by elves, who see no difference between the sexes where battle is concerned, and the Dunedaìn, arguably the most elite of mortal warriors. So it doesn't make sense to me that she would be so... sexist. I could understand if she had just told Eowyn that war is hell, explained the pain of loss on the battlefield, etc., but to go so far as to claim women are too emotional to fight? No.
