I'm telling you, those two are going to get caught, and i'm going to laugh and say, "I TOLD YOU SO!"

Just a note about rapiers: the average rapier is NOT lighter than the average medieval arming sword (that's the proper name for a one-handed sword; "longsword", in one word, is the correct name for the two-handed version; its two-handed-rapier-like equivalent is called the "estoc"). Most people have this misconception that medieval swords were very heavy while rapiers were much lighter, but the truth is that both of them weighted typically between 800 and 1200 grams (1.76 to 2.65 lbs; it doesn't sound like much at first glance, but try swinging a 1 kg metal bar for a while and your arm will get pretty tired). Though there are also a few extremes that fall outside of this spectrum (a few rapiers were found that were as heavy as 1.4 kg), they were not the norm (for one-handed weapons naturally).

So the (historically accurate) rapier was actually a pretty beefy weapon and requires quite a lot of strength to manipulate efficiently. The misconception about rapiers being a light weapon adapted for people who are not very strong does however have a few "points of origin":

1) like I mentioned earlier, arming swords and rapiers normally weight between 800 and 1200 grams, swords that are lighter/shorter fall under the "short sword" category (usually between 400 to 600 grams) and the rapier's equivalent in this category is called the "small sword" (if you think it's confusing, I wholeheartedly agree with you, unfortunately it's the official terminology used by historians and practitioners of HEMA, Historical European Martial Arts). So the small sword is a likely candidate for why most people assume that rapiers are light weapons.

2) In modern competitive fencing, we use a "foil" instead of a real rapier. The biggest difference between the two is that the foil bends when you hit your target, while the rapier has a very rigid blade. The foil is also much lighter than a regular rapier, hence the confusion that the "original" rapier on which the foil is based was also just as light.

I suggest you check "Shadiversity" on YouTube if you're curious or want to learn more details about swords, their classification and so on. (The guy is a bit overly dramatic but his explanations are very comprehensive.)

And that is how you kill off a villain you did great man this story is awesome this is way better than watching the fight between Raven and Cinder I really wanted Ruby to fight and kill Cinder and at that one final moment Ruby would say “That was for Pyrrha.” Or something like that but I liked how this story went it was pretty cool and just down right badass keep doing what your doing man

So i first started reading this story when it had like 3 chapters then at some point forgot about it then accidentally deleted it from my list and now saw the part 2 and was like oh lets chek the first part read the description and was like oh my god i remember this one and now its time to startand from what i remember this one was good :)
