I really like this one-shot. It is beautifully written and very emotional.
I really liked Rhodey making a cameo and that you chose to give some hints on a relationship between Natasha and Steve.

Keep up the good work. You have a really impressive writing style that works really well with emotional stories like this one.

excellently put together. For reference though, Identification of the remains in the tombs does occur when possible-in 1998 the id of the Vietnam body was confirmed and sent to his surviving family. Thank you for your thoughts.

Wow, this was great. I especially liked the part about Pepper fussing because that's where Tony could have been buried.

I'm almost certain there are some things in this story that are going over my head, but I believe I got enough of it for the solemnity and subtle emotion to make an impression on me. ( Dugan! :( )

I really like the little details here, and the choice of cast. I really like your take on Steve and Natasha's relationship (I think I have since your "We Are Avengers" story, and the one about Steve catching up on the 21st century), but Pepper and Rhodey's little cameos were a lot of fun too.

This is a very good one-shot.

There are likely to be a fair number of soldiers, and their families, who are misty-eyed right about now.
