Think I'm getting the idea why I haven't read this story up to now. Canon gave us a pretty pathetic Chuck but you and Harry Tang have turned him into pudding:-)
Some great ideas in the story but he is so cringe worthy. Jill should have lasted less than five minutes rather than hours with little apparent damage.

Got the stories confused and typed the wrong review. Story was well written, I liked it. Always nice to read AU from the early seasons, wish more people still wrote them. Haha very open ended ending, potential for a sequel down the line.

I don't mind the sad ending but I'm a bit confused about what happened. The last two chapters were confusing while the other were well written.

Whoa, I'd ask if you are Schwartz or Fedak with this gut punch. Overall a pretty tight story. A saving grace since he is presumably headed to a bunker at least he doesn't have the memories of his family weighing on him. I wouldn't mind one more chapter or two.

It seems to me your followers have hassled you into finding an ending. It's a sad story from go to woe but you have left it open enough that they will demand an eighth chapter.

It's weird that Elliot's last name is almost the same as Casey's real last name. Intentional? It made me wonder all kinds of things.

And red lights are always at the top of the stack specifically for color blind drivers. Chuck would realize that. Kinda took me out of the moment.

Not sure how you're going to resolve this in one chapter.

Ohh, that was good, if angsty. The previous chapter I thought maybe Chuck saw Sarah. Maybe not, but either way, roll on the next chapter.

Very angsty! Beckman forcing Sarah to tell Ellie that Chuck is dead makes me hope that Sarah gets some quality "alone" time with her, you know the same kind of time Sarah had with Jill. Can't wait for next chapter!
