I really love Hikari and her relationship with Naruto and Sasuke (sometimes even with Kakashi who I can't help having a soft spot for him) but I kinda hate how everybody treats her. Ino and Sakura ? Don't like them, and their opinions mean jackshit. Inochi and Shikaku deciding what her future will be ? Screw them. She's the Yondaime's daughter, the age of their children and still a child, she deserves better, she deserves Kakashi as a sensei damn it because she comes first to him and I'm kinda disappointed she won't be on a team with him. As for the Hokage and even Jiraya ? I AM SO ANGRY AT THEM ! I mean come on, what the hell is wrong with them ?
I know Hikari will probably go to ANBU but I hope she'll still stay somewhat in the light. It would be too cruel for Naruto to be the light, and her only existing in the shadows.
I used to find Takahiro annoying and to an extent, he still is but he's starting to grow on me. As opposed to Eisuke, I used to really like until he blamed Hikari for what he did. Hikari was not to blame. She's younger, didn't asked to be saved, didn't force him to become a shinobi and he's selfish for not wanting to dirty his hands.
Anyway, I really love your story, so sorry for the rant. Neji/Hikari seem to be the endgame for your story but I hope Hikari will end up with Kakashi. I know he's older and if her parents were alive, he would have been like an older brother to her, but they are not and she doesn't see him as a brother. I think Hikari needs someone older, because she's so mature and smart compared to the kids her age, she'll probably never understand them until they become chûnin or jonin. Kakashi would understand her and Hikari would care for him, something he desperatly needs and I think they could be good together. Not now of course, but later. When Hikari starts to learn who she is and what she wants. Screw the personas the others want her to be, she should be whomever she wants to be.

Ah, the interrogation test. I will never understand why there seem to be this common belief among Naruto fanfiction writers that guys are either somehow immune to rape, or that for some reason it would be less traumatic for them. Since it is apparently a common belief I guess it's at least in character for genin to also think so. But I still find it quite disturbing.

On a lighter note, I really like the story overall and look forward to more. I hope it doesn't turn to angsty, but that is a personal preference and if you want to write that then you should. I consider my self spoiled enough with what you have written so far.

the only part of this story i didn't like was that Hikari wasn't allowed to tell Naruto of their relationship, and the fact that people overreacted when she finally revealed that fact. But otherwise it was nice.
