Please forgive my snark but there's a lot of meta writing in here. the characters seem to know everything and their reactions to things are... artificial. I just needed to lay out how it reads from my end so you could see. I struggle with this as well.

Hmm... Some constructive critiques, I like where you seem to be going with the story but your begining, although beautifully written and laid out, reads like both Tom and Harry have waaay too much awareness of one another and themselves. There's no doubt or inner conflict that I would expect from two foes regardless of an inclination towards trusting one another. I was also kind of confused by all these "changes", which were awesome btw, that felt like they came on suddenly without any real depth of explaination as to how and why they came about. It was almost too simplified, like a summary that hinted at a deeper intention that the reader struggled to grasp.

More please! We need to see how this ended!
