Hello! Thank you for writing! Your story seems to have a sound "plot," even if it is rather cliché: I never really get tired of reading different takes on this theme of "Hokage-sama and the office." However, your story could really be improved upon with some re-reading and editing.
For example:
1)You sometimes over-use the same words; try changing up the adjectives you use. Like the paragraph about the family photo, you repeatedly use "stood," when a different descriptor-or removing it all together-could make it more exciting to read and less choppy.

2)"the family he had made" would be preferably over "family he made" because of distance in the past the event occurred.

3)Looking out "amongst" the village isn't the greatest choice here. They may be in the village, but they are viewing it from above, and therefor not exactly among the people or the buildings. Looking out "across" works better.

4) **this is important!** Sauntily is not a word. Jauntily is, which has the general emotion of confidently and happily. I think, however, that you might be looking for "saucily" or "seductively" or "alluringly."

5) "Braver" is generally preferred to "more brave," although either one technically works.

So just work on sentence structure and refinement, varying length and style a bit more, and you should have a very solid one-shot! The bones are there, so all that's needed is a little flesh and skin details. :D
