alanjiang3 chapter 1 . 3/24 Great writing! |
zbriggs98 chapter 1 . 12/15/2017 This could have been the ending of the manga of Naruto. |
Guest chapter 1 . 4/21/2016 Beautiful yet again. It has been reread a couple of times. |
meatballs in the impala chapter 1 . 8/3/2015 This was... unexpected, to say the least. Although not entirely unbelievable. I liked the notion that Naruto is too big for Konoha, too big for the world. That's true. When you've been through what he has, when you've fought so hard for so long in order to achieve your goals (bring Sasuke back, protect Konoha, become Hokage, be accepted), it's only natural that their achievement will bring you a sense of emptiness along with accomplishment. Naruto had always been about saving Sasuke and being accepted by the village, but somewhere along the road, after all the training and the heartache, after grasping all that power and saving everyone, I think he realized that Konoha isn't enough anymore. It would have been a nice plot twist to see on the manga, too; Naruto leaving the village after he literally saved the world. I think that at some point, it could have been possible for him to realize that harnessing all that power (Sage Mode, Nine-Tails Mode etc) could be used to protect people outside the borders of Konoha. World peace; it's a very idealistic concept, for sure, but if I were in Naruto's shoes, I'd think it quite possible, too. I think it's a very mature choice on Naruto's part, choosing to leave his dreams and life behind, because he knows that he is needed far more out there than here. I've always been a sucker for the Naruto-Kakashi dynamic. I think it's only fitting that the person Naruto confides his plans in is his sensei. Because Kakashi knows Naruto, he knows his heart and if he is half the son of his father, then he'll want to be something more than Hokage. Not because of vanity, but because he truly wants to protect the world. It's a nice thought and I'm glad you chose to portray this version of Naruto. Thumbs up! |
SeikoTuNeR chapter 1 . 7/9/2015 Very nice piece. This has literally inspired me to try and crank something out again. |
monkey76 chapter 1 . 6/26/2015 Beautiful. The ending I think this series truly deserved. |
CrazyAnimeFan1228 chapter 1 . 5/2/2015 Ok... That was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately, it seems very likely situation. And the fact that Kakashi let him go, showed how much he cared for his student. I really hope to read more of your works, you are an excellent writer. KEEP CALM AND LVE NARUTO! |
Guest chapter 1 . 4/4/2015 OMG I can't believe I cried reading this right after reading a crackfic somewhere else! I love this! I've always believed Naruto would become hokage one day, but this...this just seems to make sense, and now I'm starting to think that this should be the true ending. |
fluffpenguin chapter 1 . 3/3/2015 Awesome story! |
Sadkage chapter 1 . 2/10/2015 Beautifully written. This could continue as a full blown story but that would really cheapen the emotion in this one-shot. Nevertheless, you expressed both of their emotions brilliantly and it was easy to see the tinges of melancholy and sadness. Honestly, I'm quite surprised this isn't more popular and if this were the real ending, I can't say I'd be happy but I'd definitely feel content. Definitely much more content than what Chapter 700 gave me. |
Karakuri Pierrot chapter 1 . 1/21/2015 This is so freaking awesome. I wish the actual ending went like this, to be honest. Naruto... It sometimes feels like you are too much for the world to contain that this ending actually feels more realistic. Gosh. |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/20/2015 THIS. GODDAMN I WISH THIS WAS THE ACTUAL ENDING. |
JonnyBoboThe1st chapter 1 . 12/24/2014 I love the one shot man. |
BlueRubyBeat chapter 1 . 11/17/2014 So sad yet cute and happy! Interesting ending! Kinda feel bad for Kakashi... :P |
Ninjapirate101 chapter 1 . 11/12/2014 Wow, I'm speechless. This was beautifully amazing. There's so much emotion that it hits me right in my gut. This was a wonderful ending. |
