I agree with your A/N. Fanfiction doesn't always have to follow canon. It is all about what the fans want to write. I also agree with your views on Shamy and Lenny. I am not a huge fan of Amy and Leonard either. All in all great story

Reading this has actually brought me perspective in my own life. In this you question what is right after years of work toward a goal that ultimately does not seem to be reached. I find I enjoyed this story, and wish to find more like it.

This is brilliant love the take on Sheldon and Penny relationship, there friendship is so cool. I would love to read more of this story, it is great.

I'm surprised I've not reviewed this story before... I've read it multiple times over the last two years. It's one of my go-tos whenever I need a quick Sheldon and Penny fix.

As always, it was an extremely satisfying read. I enjoy reading stories about Penny taking a step back to reevaluate her life and address some of the problems she has, such as her drinking, her crappy job, and her relationships with Leonard and Amy. I like successful!Penny. I don't often watch TBBT anymore, but I caught one of the reruns recently and nearly cried when Penny confessed to Leonard that she hated her pharmaceutical sales rep job. What the eff! Give the girl a break, for god's sake!

(Sigh) Sorry—thinking about it still ticks me off. I just don't understand why they can't give Penny a decent career... Well, I DO understand, but I don't like it.

Anyway... I know this story is supposed to be complete, and I know many reviewers before me have already said this multiple times, but this is just BEGGING for a continuation—or at least a Sheldon-centric sequel. Yep, I'm adding my voice to the masses on this!

I miss seeing new stories in my inbox. I hope life is going well for you, and that you've just been too busy being awesome to do fanfic-related things. ;)
