Katie! You are the best! This is the fic that you posted when you answered my Tumblr word prompt thing a couple months ago. I genuinely thought it would be a while before I got to read this, and yet, here it is! I don't know what inspired you to post this after all this time, but I'm glad you did cause this fic deserves its time in the spotlight. I loved this! Seeing them grow up together was adorable! I love how well Tadashi knows Gogo, even at 10 years old. And I love it when fics have things I've never heard of cause then I get to learn something new. Prime example: janken pon, a.k.a. rock-paper-scissors. From what I googled, it's much cooler than the American version. Anyways, your characterization is always spot on and this was no exception. Gogo has some hilarious lines in this. I especially loved where she called Tadashi a scrub and where she questioned his status as a model child. So funny. Also, I'm glad homeboy Tadashi pulled himself together at the end cause he is terrible at responding to emails! He would send one, and Gogo would reply three, maybe four days later. This boy let weeks, even months go by before he answered her. Not cool, bro. Good thing Gogo is such a forgiving human being. And then that ending. The folly of youth is the overconfidence. I'm glad Gogo recognized that there's still a lot that can happen when you're only 17. In my mind though, they definitely work out in the end. Thank you for posting this! Literally made my night:)

There's something special about the way you write. Something that allows the reader to connect to the characters, to live the story through their eyes. I could hear the rain in your last few scenes, could smells the air and feel the train moving underneath me as if I had truly been there. Your words have always been a sort of escape for me among the chaos of life - as busy as I am these days, your story has reminded me of why I love to read in the first place. So thank you. Thank you.
