Good story! The moon has nothing to do with night. Up in the day as much as night.

That was a really lovely story. Thank you so much for writing it.

Loved this story!
Fierce Queen chapter 6 . 6/16/2017
I found this fic the other day, and I love it! You write an amazing story. My particular favorite thing was Bucky talking to his gummy bear army.

Wonderful job!

Loved it ...again. Noch ein mal.
The Tip of My Tongue chapter 1 . 3/2/2017
I know this story is a few years old, but I wanted to pop in and tell you how much I enjoyed it! The descriptions and the way everyone thought made this story so realistic! I couldn't put this story down until it was finished and that was at midnight yesterday! Thank you so much for the ride!
Saphira chapter 4 . 2/21/2017
Still really liking the story :D
As for criticisms, I feel like you went a little overboard with the depiction of the Hydra torture. It almost makes me want to say: "I get it: Hydra baaad!"
On another note, I don't know if you did it on purpose, but 'Twinkle twinkle little star' being a piece from Mozart makes the music comparison pretty funny ;)
Saphira chapter 2 . 2/21/2017
Wow, this is a great story! I really like your attention to details, and the writing is also really good.
I love the adventures of Captain Bear and his soldiers (I hope they didn't get destroyed in the river though).

"... it was about coming home." First time I've quoted an Author's note, but that is a lovely way to describe this story.

Thank you for posting.

Liked the glimpses into the past.

As with the last chapter, this continues to be heartbreaking.

Heart. Breaking. Don't know what else to say about it other than that, except maybe poor, Bucky. :(

Thank you for posting.

"He would not allow them to push him back into non-personhood even if it was easier." Good line.

"Steve, I want to go home." Heart. Breaking.

Love it when stories have a stranger recognize the signs of a vet. Loved Jerry helping Bucky.

As for the end ... No, Bucky! You didn't lose. Oh, Bucky.

As for what I didn't like, the first chapter was tough for me to get through. A lot going on, but hard for me to follow with all the preparations he was doing with things I'm not familiar with. It wasn't until the second chapter when he was playing with the Gummy Bears that I started to get invested. And then, with Steve interrogating that guy, I was all in by that point.

Thank you for posting.

Thank you for the author's notes. Although, the sniper part? I figured it was impressive shooting anyways because it's Bucky. ;)

Thank you for posting.
theartfulpuppet chapter 6 . 6/30/2016
Stayed up 'til freakin' 1 in the morning reading this. Oh my goodness. The part where Steve's talking about "Lord of the Rings" was just absolutely heart-rending. Your characterization and the insight into what Bucky and Steve are thinking and feeling is so provoking and fascinating.
Morning'sSong chapter 1 . 12/18/2015
I- well... this is just, I mean... wow. I think it's pretty safe to say that I've never seen this angle taken in these 'Winter Soldier gets away from HYDRA' fics, this really dark, survival scenario where he's just going full native (lol). The details you put into how he made all his bombs and tripwire are so realistic, this is awesome, and I can't wait to see what you have in store next chapter!
