just finished the show for the first time. it was really nice to read this wish the show had that kind of follow up on this plotline. felt weird that a show about stalking would just let him get away with that behavior.

This was a good fic showing Beth beig understandably angry for the reason Jack wanted the job especially since he was someone's about in getting it. I'm so glad Amanda didn't take this route though and gave Jack a chance the son wanted him to have.

When I was watching the first few episodes I wasn't sure if I wanted jack to be caught and arrested. Just because it seemed interesting - working in a stalking unit while being a stalker himself. Things kind if changed in the mean time and I think I like Jacks character more now.
But I liked how harsh Beth was in your story. I think he definitely would react like that if she found out about it earlier

Yay first stalker fanfic! I love jack, but I could see this happening.

This was interesting. I do think that Amanda's threat is sort of empty, because if she truly thought Jack was a danger, she'd have told Beth right away. I think she's pissed at Jack for something -and yes, he slept with someone that was part of an active case- but that was morally wrong. He could/should lose his job for that, but I'm not sure she actually has grounds for denying him the right to see his son. She even agreed with her current boyfriend (his name's slipping my mind at the moment) that Ethan has a right to know Jack. But this was well-written, and I liked it, especially cause I just need more Stalker in my life.

I could totally see it going this way, had Jack not said something in show. Well done! :)

First stalker fic on the website, awesome! I'm not sure what'll happen when Beth finds out, though I don't really want him to get arrested, she'll be mad as hell for sure, but for some reason I think she'll try to help him out. Anyway, I'm getting depressed that I can't find anymore stalker fics and don't have the time to write one of my own, so I hope you decide to write some more, because this was very good :)
