What an exciting, surprising, enthralling story! And I particularly loved the Henry/Abigail closure at the end, and the reveal to Jo, which was satisfying. All this incredible fanfic I'm gorging on lately is making me feel better after the cancellation as well as determined that we HAVE to have more seasons for our favourite show because there is just SO. MUCH. POTENTIAL.

Oh I love that they have a reunion in this story! It didn't happen on the show but to read yours is just beautiful. I always adored how Henry loved Abigail heart and soul, so her ageing never affected how he felt about her. So romantic...

So creative, adventurous, and fantastic! I oddly like the little mention that Adam thought being shot and dying in public then caught and arrested was an exciting day, and not really thinking of the danger to himself/ his secret. I imagine after 2000 years you'd be desperate for anything new, even if it's disastrous, and you'd probably figure you'd outlive any kind of scandal. Though no doubt he understands even less than Henry about modern record keeping...

Very dramatic! Henry must be REALLY mad/desperate to shoot Adam in public like that - aarrgh the suspense! And Adam reawakening inside a freezer? While not a 'body of water' I guess technically he is surrounded by water... interesting.

OOO I haven't even started reading yet and I'm all excited... a 20 chapter epic! Woohoo! Looking forward to bingereading all of it immediately :)

Just read through your story...loved it! You write really well and the way you weaved in flashbacks and other POVs was very interesting and added a lot to the story. The only thing I can think of to add now is a conversation between Jo and him. Maybe not necessarily overtly, but something that lets him know he's still her friend and partner. Maybe just have her call him with something as simple as a body drop after a few days of him not hearing from her. But I do like this ending as well if you just want to leave it alone!

That's as good as ending as any as far as I'm concerned. Congratulations for writing a very nice story. I'm sure more could be written but I feel the main issues have been dealt with and some things might be better left open ended.
