Awww gah! I love how you incorporated the Always. Having him inscribe it into the book was the perfect way to do that.
I love that Alexis let Kate give her comfort and be there for her. Kinda sad this didn't really happen because I would have loved to see that.
I'm glad she was able to give him answers to the questions he had about his dad and that he understands she why she did what she did even if he is upset about it.

I loved this chapter. Getting to see Kate's reaction to Hunt.
'"I'm getting really sick of people giving me fake names," She rasps, slipping into the passenger seat, startling when Hunt laughs.'- This made me giggle cos she definitely would know and say this. Alsooo, he called her Kate!
'She's gonna bring the walls down around their ears and make them beg, they're gonna wish they'd never heard the name Castle by the time she's through.'- Badass Beckett! I love that she's taking notes and planning to make these people pay.
"You're a spy." Kate drags her hands over her eyes and wants to laugh, "Oh, he's gonna love that."- I can imagine exactly what her face looked like when he told her this!

Ohhhhhh! I can't wait to see how these two work together! That phone call was heartbreaking and her admission "I shouldn't have done this without you."
'Everything around her explodes. Movement, action and sound thundering like a thousand horse hooves. Her own heartbeat loud and unforgiving in her ears. The birds in the trees scream, caw and flutter, outraged as their oasis is torn asunder.'- Your description of this entire scene is amazing. I felt like I was watching all of this happen and her crawling on the ground trying to get the gun. Then him saying her name. I got chills.

I loved it! There are quite a few things I wish they'd done in the actual episode even when Castle was the one to take on this. Great job!

I know some people didn't like Target and Hunt, but I loved them. I would rather Rick and Kate had gone to Paris together, however, I don't think it would have been as meaningful a reunion between father and son if she had been with him. I have wondered, too, what it would have been like if the roles had been reversed. I think you wrote it perfectly!

That was really great, Kim. Somehow I missed the email for Ch5 and so I read the last two together in one sitting. That really was the perfect way to do it - like watching the show it kept the momentum going, dragged me right into the center of the action.

I was really impressed by your ability to keep the final chapter so tight. We went through the horror of their plan but then we also got the pay-off immediately.
