I'd just like to say what a treat this story has been. It's quite clear that this won't be updated, but I truly enjoyed the experience.

It does pain me to think that Undertaker is going to suffer at the hands on the character I hate most in Kuroshitsuji: Grell Sutcliff.

I also like that your history between the two is very believable. I personally don't care for romance and appreciate the beauty in close friendships. Undertaker and Claudia are perfect in this.

The Earl's hubris needs to be put in check. Little does he know that contracts are games to demons. Ooh he needs to be brought down to size.

But in any case, I loved this story. It saddens me that it won't be continued.

I must admit, when I read the summary and peeked the date, for some reason I thought this was complete. It's a shame, but in a way I'm glad I didn't notice because otherwise I might not have opened this and I would be missing out greatly.
It's an utter shame this story isn't completed, because it's very interesting, entertaining and intelligent. Your headcanons and actual writing/descriptions are very grabbing and I would have loved to read more. By now, I've been more than over the fact that stories without updates for 3 years will simply not be finished. Still, I'm quite glad you've written these chapters and allowed people to see your envisioning of your headcanon. Thank you

Starting off with that report is brilliant.
I'm getting rather surprised with myself that this story evaded me for these past years - in a way, I shouldn't be, because I've been reading so little. But it's surprising me because I just love the story and the headcanon and how much I agree with it, to the point of having written my own fic following my headcanon. It's delightful to see someone else's story with common headcanons

Seriously, I love some of these phrases so much. Like Undertaker's thought of the time William would have to go through with Grell, or how asking Grell to clarify an idea is a fatal mistake, or the 'if there was a way to make every word in the English dictionary ound leherous, Grell had found it'. I'm not particularly good at words, specially in my reviews, but I can't put it down to words in a better way to say that I'm really enjoying your writing because it shows, rather than tells, the character's personalities just with apparently simple phrases. I always hope I can be inspired by such writing.

Also, the simple purity of these little interactions between Undertaker and Claudia are beautiful and just the type of thing I love

This first chapter is delightful. The Shinigami part is great, each one of them is described awesomely but obviously special mention to Undertaker's just wonderful description, and I loved the trip to his happy place and see your envisioning of Claudia and the little headcanons I also share. I'm quite intrigued to see where this one goes!

Look, I'm begging here. Undertaker is one of my favorite characters from Black Butler. No. He IS my favorite character. I love him so much he is like my baby. And I hate shipping him with anyone, except for Claudia. Claudia is the only one I think is perfect with Undertaker. But most people dismiss that ship or don't even know it so there aren't many stories with them together. But your story is amazing! I fell in love since the first chapter and I really hope you update soon. UT and Claudia are my otp and I'll die if I don't know how your story ends. Please?

Ugggghhhh! I have 2 know what'll happen nex! How will poor Undertaker fare in the hands of Grell?! This is a real good story, I need to have the next chapter soon!

I'm loving this story so far! Although I have to say I'm a little sad that Grell is such a meanie. But that might be because I've read so many stories where Grell and Undertaker were friends. Other than that great story!

BUT ashgioshghsdohg this world-building is so wonderful Claudia's husband having made a deal with a demon AND THEN SOMEHOW ESCAPING THAT CONTRACT WHAT A TWIST RIGHT THERE (and the irony is I'm listening to 'going to hell' by the pretty reckless right now so :P) AND THEN THAT SAID DEMON COMING BACK AND SPREADING DISEASE AND UT OF ALL PEOPLE COMBATING IT. AND EARL PHANTOMHIVE BEING IN LOVE WITH THE QUEEN AND SO DEVOTED THAT HE'S DOING A GOOD JOB OF GETTING INVOLVED IN THE DIRTY BUSINESS OF PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING FOR HER SAFETY WHILE TELLING SUPERNATURAL BEINGS DOWN FOR BEING SADISTIC (the ironing is delicious).

I wonder, though . . . wouldn't it be easier to just stick UT with a death scythe? Unless reapers aren't affected in that way by the scythe, even if demons are.

I really enjoy your story so far. I like your portrayal of Undertaker and how far his thought and his speech differ from time to time. I also really like the flashback-scenario you chose. It comes around really naturally, also I like how you interpreted Claudia I've been looking for a nice fan ficiton for the too of them for a while and I'm happy I found yours

Aaaaaaaah~ reading this was like a breath of fresh air, I have never read such a brilliant Undertaker fic before. Man, so satisfying, every single character was on point, everyone! The plot's thick and has practically got me craving more and assffghjkkl your writing style! Absoulutely love it! The scene with William slightly losing his composure had me wriggling about nervously. Damn, good on Undertaker for managing to unsettle Will. And then Will giving Grell the go-ahead green light? Uh oh. Oh Undy sweetie, I love his hardiness. I bet Grell's got some nasty stuff lined up for him, yet your Undertaker is strikingly like badass canon Undy, so I know he'll be able to take it. So you've got this whole interesting present plot line going on and then there's Undertaker's past weaved between. My god... I love him. So so much. You've converted me, Undertaker is now one of my favs, and I sorta ship Claudia and him now. And URGH I love your writing style, so much. it just flows. Did I mention the characterizations? I have but Imma say it again, sooooo good! And this chapter ended perfectly. Damn it, you're so talented, this is one lovely little fic.
