It really is too bad this isn't updating anymore. I really enjoyed all the worldbuilding, and I liked your Jaune a lot.

It was only half way through the business setup that I realized Jaune was starting the plot to Cookie Clicker. I laughed for 10 minutes straight.

Jaune has quite the interesting family. I can see why the whole hero thing was a problem, with that roster.

Since you're interested in Gamer fics that explore a crafting system, I'd like to recommend "Scooby Gamers." It's not on ff, which is why I'm bothering at all, but it should be the first result on google if you search it. It's also Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which might be a turn off, and it's not nearly as well written as, say, TGWP(which is complete on spacebattles, if you weren't already aware, and I think there's a repost of it here by someone else floating around more recently), but it's got the most comprehensively explored crafting system I've read, and it's also complete. It also has one of the more munchkinable rule sets for the ability itself that I've seen, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your perspective.
