MidnightLoveStories chapter 12 . 12/6/2018 'You are the driving force in our family, do you know that? You are the force behind all of the love.' - I absolutely love that, so true, so beautiful. Wonderfully, eloquently and beautifully written story as always. Pure joy to read. :) |
MidnightLoveStories chapter 10 . 12/6/2018 Pubert is sooo adorable, I love him. Morticia / Wednesday scene was so beautiful, I'm dead again. |
MidnightLoveStories chapter 9 . 12/6/2018 OMG, all the feels in this chapter...I'm dead. |
MidnightLoveStories chapter 6 . 12/6/2018 I don't really understand why Wednesday thought Morticia would disapprove of her marriage when it was always Morticia who was the most benevolent and accepting of others (yeah, I get this is the whole plot of the musical but it seems like a terrible injustice to her character). Anyway, I adore the scene between Gomez and Wednesday, so cute. |
MidnightLoveStories chapter 5 . 12/6/2018 Hahaha, omg that is one awkward dinner party. I just love how everyone squirms when Morticia's angry. |
MidnightLoveStories chapter 3 . 12/6/2018 That scene where Morticia first sees Wednesday in a pink dress - it's the most eloquently written WTF moment I have ever read. |
MidnightLoveStories chapter 2 . 12/5/2018 Ok, forget the comment about Wednesday being ooc who cares, this is perfect. Her internal torment is eritten so wonderfully. And I love, love how utterly cute Pubert and Morticia are together. 3 |
MidnightLoveStories chapter 1 . 12/5/2018 "Prepare to read the most moving verse since Shakespeare last chewed upon his quill," - ah, Morticia, my queen of sass! Lol My favourite line in the whole chapter. I have never seen the musical but I guess all the better for me, no spoilers. Although, Wednesday seems rather OCC (not your portrayal of course but rather the idea that she would go to such lenghts for a boy seems unlikely but hey). Still, I love the idea where 'normal' enters Addams household. Gomez is so sweet to be so tormented over this little secret. He's precious. |
EmonyDeborah chapter 12 . 9/9/2018 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THIS IS SO GOOD I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS |
WildMeiLing chapter 12 . 6/2/2015 This was wonderful. (And while I fully admit to having had a crush on Raul Julia's version of Gomez Addams since I first saw the movie forever ago, I'm sure my opinion is not at all biased.) Your style is flawless, as usual; you make it seem effortless to paint such a poignant portrait of the characters. Your writing is painstaking without being tedious, the pace is savoring without being slow, and you navigate their emotional terrain with a graceful dexterity most people (and I mean, myself) would be too impatient to try and achieve. Luckily, you write and post these stories, and we get to enjoy the fruits of your finely crafted labors. I especially like the thoughts on motherhood and marriage - so perfectly bittersweet. How you captured their habit of infusing everything with extraordinary passion. It was just so good. Thank you, thank you! |
James Birdsong chapter 12 . 5/27/2015 Thank you for the two chapters. |
Guest chapter 12 . 4/6/2015 Forget my last review, THIS is the perfect ending :) love your work. |
Guest chapter 12 . 4/6/2015 Breathtakingly beautiful ending :') Had me grinning like a Cheshire cat. |
Sara K M chapter 12 . 4/5/2015 Hi there. It kind of comes full circle with "Paris" because they still end up on a vacation/honeymoon to Paris. (Which honeymoon would it be, for them? There tenth? Thirteenth?) I always thought that Gomez liked Paris the most because he could hear more French when they were there... I like that Morticia knows that Gomez still finds her attractive. (Duh.) But if you think about when this story was set, when she was in her mid - forties probably, when women are often beginning to be concerned about their looks, it's kind of sweet. But I like that he talks about other reasons why he loves Morticia, too. Because about 90% of the male population would find Morticia Addams attractive, so that in itself isn't a reason for a marriage. Thanks for the ride. |
Guest chapter 11 . 4/4/2015 I wasn't expecting another chapter but I'm so glad you wrote more! :) this ended the story perfectly |
