I love your stories, but the one thing you consistently do which bothers me is exposition. It’s not a bad thing if done in moderation and if done about things that are actually interesting. Yours sometimes gets excessive and many times it’s about things we really don’t need to know. The main problem with yours, is that it’s almost always in dialogue and rarely in narration. It just makes the characters feel fake.. like Poppy’s remark about Lucius’ law; that was fine until you had her randomly go into the backstory of it. That wasn’t necessary. Minerva would know the backstory, so she doesn’t need the spontaneous lesson. We do, so it should have been done in narration.

I often wonder about this potion. If Harry is still there for 3rd year, what would happen if he approached Professor Snape and asked about other uses for the potion they used on his scar? Would it be possible to use it as a base for a potion to remove the darkness of the Lycanthropy curse? Could it be combined with another potion to create an animagus out of the Wolf? Or could it just be used to remove the curse slowly? And would it be done slowly like his, because you wouldn’t want to alert the Wolf!

I can just picture him, especially after having snakily asked what he wanted... and then actually showing a reaction, and then even grabbing books off the shelf and muttering about ingredient reactions. Harry could even suggest unicorn blood, freely given, or Phoenix tears, but Unicorn Blood would probably be better? And what about a venom to use to eat away at the dark magic? What might be the best to use?

Well, Basilisk venom, of course, since it it the strongest, but that hasn’t been available for about 200 years, since they were banned from breeding.
But what about the one in the chamber?

... lol. What can I say, this story has always sparked ideas

I love the way Professor Flitwick captured Voldie ghost in the crystal. I love how close Harry grew to Madam Pomfrey that he would turn to her when he needed help. I especially love him refusing to do the detention then declaring he's going tell the healer and see what she thinks of Dumbledore's idea. I like that the Tonks are fostering/adopting Harry.
