This is a very interesting story. Thank you for sharing it. The next chapter should be called the taking because there should be at the end of the chapter where neal is taken from his apartment by the bad guy.

I am very much enjoying the story so far; I prefer that it has a plot line instead of just being whump. Neal's faith in Peter is both endearing and heartbreaking. Ditto with his desire for approval. I liked the parallel structure between this chapter and the first. I also liked the parallel structureof the first lines in this chapter and the first. It definitely gives it more impact.

I actually shrieked with a little joy when I saw that your story was updated. I'm really enjoying it, please don't let it be that long again.

And the plot thickens! We have a museum curator who seemingly hates his job and is hiding something... I can't help but wonder if he's going to be the one responsible for the White Collar criminals' tortures and deaths (meaning, is he going to be Neal's kidnapper?). A new theory has taken root in my mind! I can't wait to see if I'm gonna be right (and if I'm wrong, well, that's even more fun than if I'm right, seeing as how I got one successfully pulled over on me! ...Though it's always fun to know you've figured something out correctly, too). This is the type of story I love and hate. Your development of this story and writing style is great but the gap you leave between chapters makes me fear that you may not complete it. I really really don't want it left as a WIP.

Some non-fiction mixed in with fiction makes it more "real" so that wait is understandable and truly acceptable. As for chapter titles, how about Huey Lewis and the News "Bad is Bad." :)
