Wow, I was totally swept away by this incredibly good story. I loved all the details you brought together, the way you explained how the staff meddled with Danny's mind, the fact that he kept the blancket around him when he woke up (maybe as a comforting replacement for the lost cloak that had covered/protected him for so long).

If this masterpiece is ever continued, I wish I could read more flashback of Danny's time with the circus while Vlad would execute his well planed scheme to ingrain his "truth" inside the boy's weaked mind.

I remember reading the original of this story, I think. I liked both, but I like this rewrite better. Unfortunately, I'm assuming it's been abandoned since it's been three years with no updates. Hope it gets picked up again!

Totally a great story! And freak-ish, so excited! Let's hope he will end with Vlad hehe, Daniel and Vlad as a family. Danny will see his former family but still remain with Vlad. I hope on this ending (heart)
