Your understanding of the HTTYD universe is incredibly deep, and I often find myself looking at your stories thinking, it's like you've read my mind. Not with the actual stories, the ideas and thought processes that go behind it in order to match the stories with the films TV shows and including book canon too. There are seldom few like you who understands these characters quite like this. I feel honoured to read this work. Very well done Keitorin Asthore.

Easily my favourite chapter so far. Shout out to Avannak, I follow her from DevArt, interesting work there. Oh gods, one for the potatoes and tots. I can just imagine the end part where the Ruff Legs and Lout are clambering, Astrid is randomly on a table tower, then Hiccup is clawing on Tuffs back, I think I should look into that game, adapt a version - True Australian, be bloody terrible at it, but funny to watch others.

From tickles to down right realism and I can't believe I'm saying this, but an appropriate response. In your notes you explain the situation of HTTYD 2 about exactly the same as I would have, this is so reassuring to know other people see the films not just as an irreplaceable story that's fun and visually stunning with well developed characters, but that's it's a hidden tragedy. Through out his entire life, Hiccup's family has been separated from him both physically and mentally, the first 15 years got harder as his accident prone self became prominent, his best and only friend was an enemy of his people. His father finds out and disowned him, looses a leg to prove himself. Multiple accidents and unfortunate situations follow, he is struck by lightning. The pressures to lead build, he runs away, finds his long lost mother, and for a brief moment, his family is whole before a mad man takes all away again within the same day. His father murdered by his best friend under control of a suddenly very important villain, whom 18 hours ago, he knew nothing about. (Sorry re summarised the series which we know very well anyway) Not even surprised if Hiccup would lose it. And he's only twenty, still quite young since in this universe, the Vikings are living to have grey hair, (Stoick was 50 years old.) Very thoughtful and true to nature. Oh gods, HTTYD 3 is going to hurt so much.

Also intrigued about Valka sneaking up on Hiccup and tickling him, a twenty year old man who has conquered evil and disasters, is the chief of his village is taken down by his mother in a less than dignified way. You could the his yelps and shouts to end the suffering between the fits of laughter.

(Inhales deep breath) That's heartbreaking. Sure he got used to it as he aged but, the first decade definitely when have been confusing. Then of course HTTYD 2, hasn't he suffered enough? Finds the lost parent only to lose the other, 'tis the first movie to make me cry, ever.
Again, persistance and resolve to be commemorated. Back stage on notes, it works.
