I have really enjoyed this series, and I hate that stupid fanfiction trolls have driven you from this site. Just know that you do have people that enjoy your stories, and the fact that they don't copy the movies. In my opinion, it would be very boring if they did. I hope that you update this one day, either here or on AO3...it is hard to find female!Kirk stories where she is with McCoy.

I wish you would continue this story because I often like seeing another's original outlook on a story

I'm sorry that such negative reviews have been thrown at you. It does seem ridiculous for people to complain about something not being like the movie, isn't that the point of fanfiction. It can be different from the original but maintain the feel. All of the points you mentioned make perfect sense to me.

I for one am sad you will not continue to update. There are so few good FemKirk stories available especially with Bones as her significant other, most tend towards Spock instead. I prefer Bones myself. I always look forward to your story alerts. If you are continuing the story elsewhere let me know I would love to continue reading it.

OMG! This is fanfiction people. The whole point is to stretch your imagination. If you're going to quote a movie line by line, what's the point? Everyone is entitled to give their own particular take on a movie or series and should not be pilloried because it doesn't follow "canon". If that's what you expect, don't bother reading fanfiction.

I'm sad to see that you won't be updating anymore :( some people don't understand that this is a fanfiction and whatever the author writes is how the story goes. Don't let idiots tell you how to write a story. And yeah if they wanted it to be like the movie, they should watch it or write their own fanfic.
