I used to check every so often to see if this story had gotten done, and then I kind of forgot about it.

With being quarantined these last few weeks, I decided to read some of my old favorites. Thank you for leaving your stories here. They provided a much needed distraction.

I read the entire Strangers and Angels storyline again this week. I had missed the Sweeds. This was my first time reading this final story. Very nice wrap up to your series. I was surprised at the ending. :) It makes me want more, of course. ;)

I just went through the series again and have to ask to please have more?! I really think this is the best Original characters and I love them all with our boys. Please don’t let it end, though this is the best that they can’t to the bunker. So happy to read it again.

I fell in love with this series many years ago, but then sort of dropped out of the spn fandom for a while. Recently I was feeling nostalgic and went back to read the Strangers and Angels 'verse, which was when I saw you had written another story in it! I cannot tell you how much I loved this one. Your characterization of the boys as all grown up is so spot on. Tommy is excatly how I would expect, and I'm so proud of Michael and Jake. I love them all so much! Also, I have to say, I adore the way you write Cas. He never really did it for me in the show, for many reasons, but this? This abuse of power for the greater good? Being outside the rules/considerations of humanity but still trying to do right by people he cares about even when it's kind of horrific? Amazing. Thank you for this story, this series, and the joy and comfort it has brought me.

I've just read the Strangers and Angels universe and it was beautiful! the entire set was amazing.. and the plot twist at the end(Cas-related) totally unexpected! thank you for such a sweet story

Tears. In my eyes. Man, c’mon. This is one of the sweetest things I have ever read. I’m a little sad that Sweeds didn’t get to say hello to Cas in this one, but it also felt like it ended right. While I’m familiar with most things from Supernatural, my pull to your stories began with “Mask of Sanity” due to the Criminal Minds crossover. That story was beautiful as well; I read it once during my Freshman year and I have reread it now. I feel the pull to watch Supernatural again, if only to enjoy some more of your stories. Keep up the awesome writing 3

LOL. First, dropping a house on Sam for the greater good really does sound like something Cas would do. Sigh. This was such a great series. You made me really get attached to these doubly fictional characters. I'll definitely be back to re-read. This series was perfect.

Prologue- It made me kind of sad, how the Winchester's interactions with the Sweeds are infrequent. I guess that will change with this story, though.
Chap 1- Good setup, seeing where Michael and Jake are now.
Chap 2- What a sweet reunion between Dean and Michael.
Chap 3- "Evidently, Michael was not so much about patient privacy when it came to the Winchesters and his family." LOL And I love bossy-and-in-charge Jake.
Chap 4- Yay! Jo to the rescue! I'm glad Dean finally called. I understand his reluctance to drag other people into his chaotic life, but he really needs the Sweeds. The IMs between Jo and Jake made me smile.
Chapter 5 was awesome. Jake teasing Dean about holding Sam's hand was funny. I giggled when Jo said, "Then don't slobber on me," when Dean said he was afraid of getting her sick. Michael repeatedly asking Jo if she was sure she wanted to go to the hospital that night just to drive the point home with Dean was hilarious!
Chap 6- I love Jo and Luke's relationship. Jo takes care of everyone, and Luke's there to take care of her. The interaction between Dean and Tommy was funny.
Chap 7- "Dean didn't even fight the Sweeds' bossing him around anymore." Smart man. "It's not like we can tie him up and make him rest. Can we?" :)
Chap 8- I'm glad that the salt-and-burn went without a hitch. They don't need any more injured people to take care of.
Chap 9-Sam thinking about how the Sweeds had come to them when they were needed, even after so many years apart, made me teary.
Chap 10- It was fun seeing the family picking out lights and ornaments. Castiel's appearance (and confession) was a good way to wrap up the story.

Oh my gosh! I absolutely loved this! You have created characters so real and left me longing to see them on the show! Please keep going and write more stories of Sam and Dean with the Sweeds!

I reviewed this when it was first completed but after reading it, I felt compelled to read the rest of the stories that feature the Sweed family. I had forgotten just how much I loved those stories, how hopeful they were and how much it meant to me that Dean and Sam had a "home" long before the bunker appeared. I have sorely missed this family and how much love they have for our boys. I am hoping that you'll continue to make them a part of the Supernatural universe if and when we get more seasons.
