I have read so, so many fics that deal with Emma learning to accept that she needs help, to accept help from her parents, so it was a really refreshing change to see Snow needing to be picked up by her daughter. In all of those other stories, Snow reiterates that there is no shame in needing help, but she has never been on the receiving end of the help. She is clearly overwhelmed right now, both with the postpartum depression and being the new mayor, but at least she knows her daughter will be there for her. This was really interesting to read. Thank you for sharing.

Love this. I love the fact that the wall between these two characters has been removed and Emma can really speak her mind and the same for snow bc it makes sense. The issues on the show, Snows attachment to Neal, needs to be further explored with a large side of a conversation w Emma. Great work.

I liked this. I love the way you acknowledge that women who have postpartum depression are not "weak." Snow can get help and can allow other people to help her, no mater how strong she's supposed to be.

It's a condition that can happen to any women, no matter how strong she is.

It's nice to see Emma trying to help her mother, too.
