This was good until the memory attack from Voldemort affecting Riddle.
They don't have the same soul.
They are dimensional twins.
You don't see other twins in the setting getting hurt when there twin is getting mind probed.
Magical core's are bad fanon which diminishes the setting.
Stop try to apply science to magic.
It defeats the purpose of magic.
Finally, You know why Harry Potter is a parselmouth.
Don't try to make it an AU because you've got a 'hard on' for the character.

I am excited for your next chapter and I'm glad that you posted this note - otherwise I would have assumed that this was another abandoned fic, no offence to you but it is awfully familiar here. I like the way you have characterised tom and the other characters, they all seem to be pretty realistic but I would've thought those who knew him from before would put up a bit of a bigger fight. Sorry that I didn't review for the other chapters but I prefer to read through the entire text before. I only kind of want to see how the death eaters and Voldemort are taking this new arrival.

After witnessing this, there is no way for Harry to still believe Tom is Voldemort, what with all the monologuing that man has.

The mental image of Tom Riddle just casually strolling through Little Whinging is hilarious.
