Leon can kick rocks with his moral superiority thing he got going on. If someone's trying to kill you or someone you love, your not thinking about protecting them but protecting yourself , and Merlin didn't mean to kill her anyway.

Damn, Merlin is catching it from all sides and that's on top of his attempt of suicide to fix everything. Having to deal with a superintendent that might try to frame him or through him under the bus and lets not forget the creepy stalker Nix. Will Merlin have time to take a breather because he needs it.

Great story, Merlin should take some time off and find himself again and not worry about Author. Just focus on getting healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally before trying to do this job, or find something where he can help people with out all the drama and danger that he's always the target of.
