I'm not going to hound you for your grammatical and spelling errors, nor am I going to criticize your take on the characters (that would be stupid, anyway, seeing as this is your fanfic), but I will stress the importance of pacing to you. This entire fanfic is the length of what should be half a chapter for this kind of fanfic. Your fanfic doesn't have to be as long as Fallout: Equestria, and you don't have to take the romance as slowly as Kimi ni Todoke, but it would be very much appreciated if you would space it out a bit more (or, at least, don't have them declare their undying love after their first date, don't have sexually teasing scenes so early on, etc.). Also, you neglected some small details (what happened to Blake's bow following its loss, etc.). My main gripe is that I don't feel you got the characters' personalities down very well. Don't get me wrong; you got them right for the most part, but they're just not quite right (as far as I can tell, at least). I'm kind of ranting now, so I'll end it here: thanks for the fanfic. It wasn't perfect, but it was a nice way to kill a few minutes of Algebra II. |
