You know, I actually prefer the version of V's speech from the original graphic novel. It makes V out to be a HR manager in a meeting with humanity. Here's the speech...

And what about the children? It's always the children who suffer, as you're well aware. Poor little mites. What are they to make of it? What are they to make of your bullying, your despair, your cowardice and all your fondly nurtured bigotries? Really, it's not good enough, is it? And it's no good blaming the drop in work standards upon bad management, either...

Though, to be sure, the management is very bad. In fact, let us not mince words ... the management is terrible! We've had a string of embezzlers, frauds, liars and lunatics making a string of catastrophic decisions. This is plain fact.

But who elected them? It was you! You who appointed these people! You who gave them the power to make your decisions for you! While I'll admit that anyone can make a mistake once, to go on making the same lethal errors century after century seems to me nothing short of deliberate.

You have encouraged these malicious incompetents, who have made your working life a shambles. You have accepted without question their senseless orders. You have allowed them to fill your workspace with dangerous and unproven machines.

All you had to say was "NO." You have no spine. You have no pride. You are no longer an asset to the company. I will however, be generous. You will be granted two years to show me some improvement in your work. If at the end of that time you are still unwilling to make a go of it...

You're fired.

That teaser softened the blow of how short this story is. I get making the attempt, but to actually get somewhere with it? It undermines his position in the story and begs the question of who the fck Sachi is anyway. The only thing she has going for her is genetics while Naruto has the same as well as years of experience, training, and Fox chakra supercharging everything about him. As far as roles go she should be a bad*ss to everyone BUT Naruto. I didn't even read that chapter and already I kind of hate it and her. She's problematic.

This plot twist couldn't be anymore obvious so I wish you would stop forcing the suspense and mystery angle. Sakura wasn't revived when he tried because it gave life to the child in her stomach instead. She was born in a grave after Naruto buried Sakura when he thought he'd failed. Sakura is dead and this plothread is getting boring. Not to mention it makes Naruto seem like an idiot. "She was born in a grave huh? Well I could find out which one and oh boy what a surprise it would be if it turned out to be Sakura's... but nah. I think I'll just stew on this Sakura being alive angle. Why oh why would she fake her death and do something so crazy as having a kid in a grave, hmmm?"

It's like watching someone trying to figure out why 225. It doesn't dumb*ss, so why don't you try again.

I feel like the story could've done without this particular plot twist. I'm not too interesting in it.

He called the mayor "my boy" makes me wonder just how old naruto is in this fic
Also his personality seems more sasuke than naruto. Tbh it wouldn't make much difference if sasuke is the mc of this fic. I mean all we needed is their skills
